DAMARISCOTTA — On Saturday, Sept. 8, from noon to 4 p.m., Lincoln County Community Theater, the resident theater company at Damariscotta’s Lincoln Theater, will hold general auditions for its entire 2012-13 season at the theater, located at 2 Theater St. All those interested in performing are encouraged to attend.
Plans for the season include four works: Mary Chase’s “Harvey,” opening Nov. 9; Gilbert & Sullivan’s “HMS Pinafore,” opening March 8; Jon Robin Baitz’ “Other Desert Cities,” opening May 3, and finally, Meredith Wilson’s “The Music Man” opening Aug. 2.
Sides will be provided for actors to read, or they may also bring a short monologue. Singers are requested to bring a brief song along with written music. An accompanist will be provided.

Artistic personnel (directors, tech directors, costumers, lighting designers, stage managers, producers, set builders, painters, house staff, etc.) wanting to participate in the season are also encouraged to email Mulcahy expressing interest.
