HARPSWELL — University of Maine Mid-coast Alumni are again hosting a concert by folksinger David Mallett (class of 1973) on Saturday, Sept. 8, at Snow Ridge Farm, 69 Shore Road.
Maine alumni and their guests are invited.
Opening remarks will be offered by new Maine president Dr. Paul Ferguson, who is a special guest along with his wife, Grace. Hosting the concert are Greg and Joy Jewett Johnson, class of 1968.
Social hours begin at 5:30 p.m. with a bean supper served at 6:30 p.m., followed by the concert. The cost is $32 per person. Proceeds benefit book scholarships for Mid-coast Maine junior and senior students.
Reservations may be made until Tuesday by sending a check, payable to UMaine Mid-coast Alumni, to Patricia Taggart, treasurer, P.O. Box 205, Bath, ME 04530.
