BRUNSWICK — The Burger King restaurant at 174 Bath Road is participating in the “A Chance for Kids” fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund, which pays for cancer care and research for children.
Through July 1, customers can donate $1 to the Jimmy Fund when they patronize the restaurant. With each contribution, restaurant guests will receive a promotion card guaranteed to be a winner, with prizes ranging from all-inclusive resort vacations and airline tickets, to theme park admissions.
Through the “A Chance for Kids” program, more than 600 franchise and companyowned Burger King restaurants set a goal to raise $1.2 million for pediatric cancer research and care at Dana- Farber Cancer Institute.
