BATH — The pitching trio of Isaak Flaming, Thomas Warren and Jackson Walker combined on a three-hitter with 18 strikeouts and three walks to post a 9-1 win over Cahill’s Tire in recent Bath Cal Ripken Minor Division action.
Each pitcher worked two innings, striking out six. The offense took advantage of eight walks, with timely hitting led by Josiah Yeaton (two singles, double), Flaming (two singles) and Warren. Walker and Sam Kirkpatrick each singled.
For Cahill’s, Nicco Bartone worked five innings, striking out eight, and led his team on offense, going 2-for-2 with a double. Brogan Shaw chipped in with a single and made several outstanding defensive plays, as did Bartone, while Karl Shumaker played a strong defensive game behind the plate.
