BIDDEFORD — Senior guard Kari Pelletier converted a traditional three-point play with 1:10 to play to help rally the University of New England past Endicott College for a 63-59 women’s basketball win in a matchup of the two top Commonwealth Coast Conference teams Thursday evening at James A. Beaudry Gymnasium.
Margo Russell scored a team-high 14 points for the winners, while junior Beth Suggs of Bath added 12 points to go with six rebounds and five assists.
On Saturday, senior guard Kelley Paradis poured in 19 of her game-high 24 points in the first half, helping to guide the University of New England to a 73- 42 Commonwealth Coast Conference win over Western New England University at the Alumni Heathful Living Center.
Suggs added nine points for the UNE, now 12-3.
