BATH — Leading 31-20 at the half, the Bath Middle School eighth-grade boys basketball team outscored rival Brunswick Junior High 10-4 in the third quarter and held on for a 54- 42 victory on Thursday.
Justin Johnston led all scorers with 19 points, Keegan McDonough added nine and Zach Garvey chipped in with eight for the Destroyers. Juwan Moore and Brendan Harper were strong on the glass, while Nick Doughty and Ayden Brillard played strong floor games.
Alex Ewing and Matt Belanger were defensive standouts.
