HARPSWELL — Cook’s Lobster House on Bailey Island will host its third annual Holiday Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Proceeds benefit the Harpswell Home Heating Assistance (HHHA) program and the Harpswell Santa Fund.
The restaurant continues to accept donations for the silent auction, which will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“Donations often include business discounts and gift baskets, artwork created by local artists, and the handmade crafts of our community members,” a release from the restaurant states. “ Thanks to your generous donations in years past, we have raised (more than) $3,000 to contribute to the HHHA. This year the need is greater than ever and with your continued support, we hope to make this the most successful benefit yet.”
Those who attend the event Saturday are asked to bring an unwrapped, in-box toy that will help the Harpswell Santa Fund.
Cook’s will provide appetizers for the auction and offer a 10 percent discount on all food purchased Saturday by diners who bring in a toy for the Harpswell Santa Fund. The restaurant also will donate 10 percent of all food sales Saturday evening to the HHHA.
