MADISON (AP) — Sheriff ’s deputies are investigating a crash in central Maine that killed a 45-year-old motorcycle rider.
The Somerset County Sheriff ’s Department says Michael Dyer of Skowhegan was killed at about 8:40 a.m. Wednesday when his motorcycle collided with a sport utility vehicle on Route 148 in Madison. He was not wearing a helmet.
Officials say the SUV, which was driven by a 17-year-old, turned into the path of Dyer’s motorcycle. The teenager’s name was not released.
