WALES — The Mt. Ararat Middle School field hockey team opened its season Wednesday with a 4-0 loss to Oak Hill.
Mt. Ararat shots on goal came from Rhiannon Hersey, Thalia Couture (two shots) and Samantha Goynea.
Eagles goaltender Haley Frizzle had 20 saves, while Oak Hill netminder McKenzie Thieaule made four stops.
Also playing well for Mt. Ararat were Emily Giggey, Maia Carlson and Porter Galvin.
Sidney Tilton, Abby Asselin, Megan Sheehe and Erika Hannigan each scored for Oak Hill.
