BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School boys soccer teams opened their season Wednesday with wins against the Bath Middle School.
The seventh-graders won 10-0.
Leading the charge was Max Grammins, who tallied a hat trick. Other goals came from Lucas Platt, Alex Small, Kyle Hanson (two), Holden Andrews, Michael Deveaux and Nathan Harrower.
Leading with assists was Tobyn Blatt (three), while Henry Doherty had two, and Griffin Vanniel, Zach Boyle, Kyle Hanson and Wyatt Slocum one each.
Keeping things neat in net were Brunswick keepers Jared Hummer, Zach Boyle, Trevor Milbourn and Platt.
On the eighth-grade side, the Huskies prevailed, 5-0.
Olu Vaughan had two goals, with one each for Lincoln Sullivan, Chris Glover (penalty kick) and Josh Dorr.
Dorr and Taylor Worthington shared time in goal, with seventh-grader Jared Hummer also taking a shift.
Outstanding in the midfield and defense were Kyle Heatley, Evan Guernelli and Sawyer Nicholson.
