
The competition was held June 8 at St. Luke’s Cathedral in Portland.
First Place winner of the Lucia Wright Piano Prize is Jacob Davidson of Brunswick, who will begin undergraduate music study this fall at Mt. Allison University Conservatory of Music in Sackville, New Brunswick.
Second Place prize winner was Kelia Ingraham of Kennebunk.
The annual competition draws university- bound musicians from Cumberland, Oxford and York counties between the ages of 17 and 25 who are registered as music majors in the fall of 2013 at any accredited music school, college, or university. Live auditions take place in front of a panel of judges that includes current Portland Rossini Club members and local professional musicians.
