ESSEX JUNCTION, V.T. — At the recent Vermont Quilt Festival held at the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Junction, Vermont, Wendy Caton Reed of Bath received a Judge’s Choice award for her quilt, Pan Blackened Appliqué. In addition, she was awarded a red ribbon for that quilt. She joined 250 others in the annual competition that includes a category for young quilters. Four national quilting authorities judged the quilts prior to the opening of the show. Entries were from the US, Canada, and Germany.
