Windham resident Kristen Rickett, 10, releases a baby pheasant June 18 in Gorham where the Windham-Gorham Rod and Gun Club will raise 2,200 of the birds. Once the pheasants mature this fall, they will be released into the wild at selected sites in Cumberland and York counties.
