The Scarborough Public Library will host a program, “Choosing Books for Kids,” on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m.

Kirsten Cappy from Curious City in Portland will talk about selecting books for youth ages 7-17.

She has worked in the children’s book industry since the 1990s. She has wide experience with selecting materials for children and young adults, which is particularly challenging given the amount of books published.
