The Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust is seeking community input on its current and future conservation work. A community survey available online until Sept. 2. asks the community what land trust programs and properties are most important to them, what outdoor activities visitors do on trust properties and what activities they would like more access to, and what partnerships seem most imperative.
“This information will help BTLT to better understand community needs, prioritize its programming and conservation efforts, and shape the future of the organization,” according to a news release from the trust.
Those who complete the survey can to be entered into a drawing for L.L. Bean and Wild Oats Bakery & Café gift cards, and everyone who enters will get a 10% discount to Wild Oats during the first week of September.
BTLT has been conserving land in the towns of Brunswick, Topsham, and Bowdoin for almost 35 years, with over 2,700 acres currently under its stewardship. In addition, the organization offers more than 20 miles of trails, dozens of events each year, school programming, and the much-loved Tom Settlemire Community Garden and Saturday Farmers’ Market at Crystal Spring Farm.
The survey is available at btlt.org/survey/.
