Freeport- Doris Gullifer age 94 of East St. and formerly of Chamberlain Avenue in Brunswick died Monday, February 4th at Bella Point in Freeport.
She was born in Topsham on April 3, 1924 the daughter of Earl and Alvine Gaudreau Leavitt. She attended Brunswick schools.
On July 5, 1947 he married Elton Gullifer. He died February 12, 1980.
Doris worked as a clerk at the former Livernois IGA for many years until retiring.
She was a former member of the 55 Plus Center, the Evergreens and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church.
Surviving are nieces, nephews and close friends.
A graveside service at Roger’s Cemetery, Cathance Road in Topsham will be announced in the spring.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church 132 McKeen St. Brunswick, Maine 04011. Her family would like to thank Bella Point and Hospice for the kindness shown to Doris.
