Nicholas (Nik) Herbert Reno, 28, of Bungunuc Road in Brunswick, Maine, passed away on Saturday the 24th of February 2018 after losing a short battle with drug addiction. He was born on April 30, 1989, at Midcoast Hospital in Bath, Maine.

Nik was welcomed into this world with loving arms by his father Terry Pender and his best friend/mother Bridget Reno.

Nik was a firecracker from the start, always bringing positive energy and vibes to all who surrounded him.

He is survived by his mother, Bridget Reno, his loving sister Katy Reno and her daughter Emma, and his grandparents Ken and Diane Wagner. He leaves behind many aunts and uncles, Herb Reno, Kenny Wagner, Suzy and Mike Younkman, Rhonda Reno, Barbara and Harold Sandelin, Rusty Pender, Denny Pender, Sheila Skelton and his honorary aunts and uncles Gill, Cory, Shelly Wilson and Ben (Buck) Travers, Trout Slayer uncle Kenny, Junoo-Jay, Budd—mom, and honorary brothers Steve-O, Troy, Stump, Nate and Cory.

Nik was predeceased by his childhood hero and father, Terry Pender, along with his grandparents, Dan and Julia Pender, his favorite cat Bigfoot and lastly his other best friend and great grandmother “Nan,” Ella Priestly.

Nik was an amazing friend and family man and a brother to hundreds of people on many different common grounds. Whether it was hunting, fishing, lobstering, golfing, or playing softball, you could always depend on Nik for a wise comment, a funny joke or the sound of his inhaler puffing twice to be sure he was ready for the next big adventure.

There will be a funeral service and celebration of life on Sunday, March 4, 2018, starting at 2 p.m. until people disperse at the Bath Country Club on 387 Whiskeg Road in Bath, Maine.
