THE PEOPLE PLUS WORLD AFFAIRS CONVERSATION GROUP meets every third Thursday at the People Plus Center at 11 a.m., to discuss what’s going on in the world today. The conversations are led by Dr. Edward Knox and guest facilitators, and feature discussions and debates. Recent topics have included Vietnam, Venezuela and Russia. The group next meets Friday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. The topic will be a continued discussion of Jerusalem, leading into the Syria/Kurdish/Turkey situation. The group maintains a website where they put reference material for their topics at worldaffairsconversation.weebly.com. The group is for members only but anyone can come try it out.
