TURNER — The Morse High School boys basketball team recently took down the Leavitt Hornets in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference action recently.
Morse jumped out to a 15- 12 lead after a quarter and took a 26-20 lead into the locker room. A 20-14 third quarter extended its lead to 46-34 through three quarters.
Ty Warren led the visitors with 25 points while Parker Onorato followed with 20. Josh Doughty chipped in six points while Jack Harrington contributed with an outstanding all around game.
“A solid complete game all the way through,” said Morse coach Brian Bennett. “Well executed offense with outstanding defense and a ‘no quit’ mentality. Very proud of their performance.”
Morse concludes its season tonight at home against Camden Hills at 6:30 p.m.
