PEOPLE PLUS is thanking the local community for contributing 50 gift bags for 50 grade 6-12 youths at the Brunswick Area Teen Center. Donations were received from individuals and businesses to stuff gift bags for each teen and provide items for the annual Yankee swap at their holiday party. Community donors helped provide party food and fill the bags with movie theater tickets, socks, ear buds, toiletries, puzzles, and candy, among other items. Donors included People Plus members and businesses such as Bill Dodge Auto Group, CEI, Hannaford and Lighthouse Variety Deli. The Teen Center Program had more than 2,000 teen visits in 2017 and the number of teens served is growing every week.
