TOPSHAM — David E. Bartlett, age 85, passed away of natural causes alongside his wife Phyllis at their home in Topsham. He was born in Portland, a son of the late Kenneth F. and Helen F. (Baker) Bartlett.

He graduated from Scarborough High School and Coyne Electrical & Technical School in Boston. He served in the Seabees in Korea during the Korean Conflict with the CBMU-101.

David was a master electrician and worked 21 years for electrical contractors in Portland, and retired after working over 20 years in the plant and engineering department at Mercy Hospital.

He was predeceased by a brother, Donald K. Bartlett.

He is survived by a stepdaughter, Eve M. (Thomas) Duplissis and her husband, Scott Duplissis of Lewiston, a brother, Dana E. Bartlett and his wife Patricia Bartlett of Gorham, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation hours for Mr. and Mrs. Bartlett will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon at Stetson Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick. A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Bath.
