TOPSHAM — The Topsham Parks and Recreation Department is offering basketball for players in grades 1-2.
All games are played on Saturday mornings at the Williams- Cone School gym. Games will begin on Jan. 6. Each “game” will consist of a 30- minute skills presentation and a 30-minute scrimmage. The skills portion of the program will be directed by Andy Morris, Mt. Ararat varsity girls basketball coach and his group of players. Different skill/drill set will be presented each week.
This program is open to SAD- 75 residents for $ 35 per child, and will run through Feb. 10. T-shirts will be provided for all participants.
Deadline to register is Dec. 14. A $10 late fee will be charged after that date, and players will only be place if space is available.
