Glenn Hutchinson, Bath Savings Institution president and CEO, recently announced the hiring of Brian Desjardins is a new commercial lender.
Hutchinson said, “We are happy to continue expanding our staff to meet the needs of our continued growth and add to our economy by creating new jobs in the region.”
Desjardins, of Westbrook, has more than 13 years of experience in banking, most recently as vice president, commercial lending at Norway Savings Bank. He began his banking career as a retail branch manager. Within two years he was promoted to the commercial lending group.
He is also the board president of the Risk Management Association, Maine Chapter.
Hutchinson said, “Brian exhibits the principles that we value at Bath Savings. We know he will excel in his new position as vice president, commercial lending.”
