BRUNSWICK — Playing in their season finale, Brunswick and Mt. Ararat High School jayvee soccer teams played to a 3-3 tie on Monday.
Brunswick led 1-0 at the half and increased its lead to 2-0 before Mt. Ararat’s Thomas Davison registered an unassisted goal.
Marcus Steinman also tallied an unassisted goal for the Eagles before Nathan Taylor rounded out the scoring with a penalty kick.
James Singleton made two saves in net while teammate Mitch Surace turned away one.
Strong play from Nathan Kofroth, Tristan Burch, Jacob Sargent and Alistair Lopez kept the Eagles in the game.
Mt. Ararat finished the season 8-2-3.
