TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School eighth-grade girls soccer team played a pair of games recently.
Against Lewiston, the Eagles came away with a 2-0 victory. Morgan Ruff scored off a pass from Emily Davison, and Amanda Pickens finished a setup from Lillie Singleton.
Ryan Norton, Rachel Eaton and Lilly Hanna played tough against a good Lewiston team.
Mt. Ararat dropped a 1-0 decision to Brunswick on Tuesday.
The Eagle defense was looking strong with efforts from Makenna Girouard, Barrett Thiboutot, Lilly Hanna and Jayden Austin, but Emily Bontatibus took the cake in the goal, making some tremendous saves in the second half.
