NEWCASTLE — The Brunswick High School girls soccer jayvee team won its seventh straight game, downing Lincoln Academy, 4-2, on Tuesday.
Lila Solberg opened the scoring eight minutes in and then assisted Rae Bamberger one minute later for a quick two-goal lead. The Dragons carried their 2-0 lead into the half.
Lincoln struck first in the second half, getting back a goal of its own.
Elena Palmer countered with a goal off a pass from Solberg for Brunswick, and 15 minutes later, Bamberger put another one in to seal the victory. She was assisted by Katherine Hartnett.
