The Mt. Ararat Middle School girls soccer team beat Lewiston 3-2 recently to improve to 2-1 on the season.
Trailing 1-0, Mt. Ararat’s Angel Huntsman tied the game with a goal. Soon after, Ella Bergeron scored on a free kick to put the Eagles up by one. Huntsman added in her second tally of the game to giving the Eagles a 3-1 lead.
Lewiston added a goal late in the second half but it wasn’t enough.
Both Jenessa Blanc and Sydney Dufresne were in goal for Mt. Ararat. Claire Tankersley, Haley Wiers, Eliza Dube and Piper Dedek all had solid play to contribute to the win.
