Coach’s outlook: We are a young team who is improving each day in practice. Enthusiasm and energy has been a strength of this team early. We hope to be a top four team in a Class A division with some tough opponents.
KENNEBUNK RAMS
Coach: Craig Richardson

Key newcomers: MacKenzie Esquivel
Key returners: Britta Brown, Emily Hickey, Maggie Nguyen, Rachel Petrarca, Saraphina Birtolo, Olivia Aiken, Amelia Nelson, Leah Bolduc.
Coach’s outlook: The core of our young team last year are coming back. Most of the starting lineup remains the same and we have a deeper bench this year with several players able to come off the bench to pick up a teammate when needed. With three classes in volleyball this year, we’ll see some different teams. I expect to at least match last years record but should do much better. A trip deep into the playoffs is our goal.
THORNTON ACADEMY GOLDEN TROJANS
Coach: Corey Huot

Key newcomers: Olivia Howe, Sofia Gomez, Emma Cianchette
Key returners: Sarah Casey, Laura Fortier, Noelle Michaud

Coach’s outlook: Last year, we only had one player with any varsity experience. Since it was a rebuilding year for us, we were able to get some experience for our younger players. This season, we have 10 returning varsity players, and I’ve been really impressed with the work they’ve put in. They work hard, push themselves, and are ready to compete.
WELLS WARRIORS
Coach: Janice Zurlo
Last year’s record: Qualified for playoffs
Key returners: Megan Schneider.
Key losses: Lost seven players to graduation.
Coach’s outlook: Our big goal is to return to the (playoffs) this season.
