OXFORD (AP) — Police in Maine say a man has died and another person has been seriously injured in a car crash.
WGME-TV reports the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday on state Route 121 in Oxford. The Oxford County Sheriff ’s Office says a car struck a utility pole.
One man was killed in the crash. A second man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
Officials say the downed utility pole affected electricity for area homes for several hours.
Police continue to investigate.
