New Morse High School athletic director Nate Priest has announced the practices schedules for the opening week of Shipbuilder fall practices, which begin on Monday.

Football

Two-a-day practices begin on Monday.

Session one takes place on the practice field from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the evening session on McMann Field from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Field hockey

Practices the opening week will alternate between McMann and Kelley fields.

Morning sessions each day will be held on McMann Field from 6-8 a.m., while afternoon practices move to Kelley Field from 5-7 p.m.

On Aug. 18, the team will hold a team breakfast from 8-10 a.m., with the afternoon session back at Kelley Field from 5-7 p.m.

Cheering

Cheerleaders will practice at two locations throughout the week.

On Monday and Tuesday, practices will be held at McMann Field from 5-7 p.m., followed Aug. 16 at Bath Middle School from 6-8 p.m. Practice on Aug. 17 will also be held at Bath Middle School from 5-7 p.m., and the Aug. 18 session will move back to McMann Field from 5-7 p.m.

Cross country

McMann Field is the location for practices the first four days, with sessions running from 8-10 a.m. each day.

On Aug. 18, the annual Alumni meet will begin on the track at 9:30 a.m.

Boys soccer

The soccer team has two practices per day the first four days.

From 6-8 a.m., the teams will meet on Tainter Field.

From 5-7 p.m., the squad will be on McMann Field.

The Shipbuilders play an exhibition game on Aug. 18.

Girls soccer

The Shipbuilders will on McMann Field each day.

The morning session takes place from 8-11 a.m. on the turf.
