Yankee Ford struck for five runs in the fourth inning en route to a 9-5 Senior American Legion baseball win over Highland Green on Tuesday at Wainwright Field.
Highland Green, 4-8 and slated to host Coastal Landscape in a doubleheader on Sunday (10 a.m.), led 5-4 before Yankee Ford rallied.
Garrett Moody, Alex Larson and Cam Labbe pitched for the visitors, combining to allow 12 hits with three strikeouts.
At the plate, Kyle Brennan doubled and singled, Hunter Lohr singled twice and Cam Cox doubled in the loss.
Nate Ingalls powered Yankee Ford (10-3) with a single, double and triple. Ben Conti singled three times, with Riley Hasson adding two hits, including a double. Arlo Pike also singled two times, while Brogan McDonald singled and tripled.
