I am going to give you some reasons why you should donate money for puffins.
Puffins have been killed for many years, but they mostly die when they are in the ocean or when gulls eat them.
Maybe you can help support the National Audubon Society’s Project Puffin by adopting a puffin for $100.
Puffins are good in nature, but puffins only have one baby each year and now there are not that many puffins in the world because people have been killing them for their feathers and their meat.
There are not a lot of them because they only have one baby a year, but gulls have two to three babies a year. I think gulls like to eat puffins more than anything else.
I just gave you reasons why you should adopt a puffin.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
