PORTLAND — Coffee By Design recently hired Trisha Thorpe as joint controller and financial manager for the Maine-based coffee company.
In this role, Thorpe is responsible for all company financial reporting, licensing, tax filing, payroll, sales reports and more, in addition to the company’s human resources needs, including HR compliance, workers compensation, 401k plan, new hire documentation and employee benefit plans and enrollment.
Thorpe has nearly two decades of experience in human resources and operations management, and was most recently operations manager of an environmental contracting company in Maine.
Originally from Michigan, she is a resident of Gorham.
