BRUNSWICK

A bomb threat forced the L.L. Bean Manufacturing building on Industrial Parkway to evacuate Thursday evening.

According to a press release issued by Brunswick Police Cmdr. Tom Garrepy, the incident began at 5:41 p.m. when the Brunswick Communications Center received a 911 call for a fire alarm activation at the manufacturing building located at 8 Industrial Parkway.

Shortly after, dispatchers received another call, informing them a note was located which indicated there may have been an explosive device somewhere in the building.
