BRUNSWICK — Ione Floral Design, a new boutique studio specializing in floral design for weddings and special events, will host an opening celebration on Saturday, May 13.
Located at 19 Lincoln St. in Brunswick, this open studio event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Proprietor and floral designer Kathe Mickunas brings nearly 30 years of experience working with flowers, most notably as proprietor of Passionflower Farm in West Bath between 2004-12.
Passionate about sustainability, Ione Floral Design will feature seasonal blooms from local Maine flower farms during the growing season.
Ione’s home-based studio is open by appointment only, with custom bouquets available by advance request. Flowers are sourced per order to ensure maximum freshness and individuality.
