TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat High School boys jayvee lacrosse squad cruised by Cony, 11-0, and moved to 4-2 on the season recently.
Leading the way were Keegan Brown and Jacob Sargent, who each punched in four goals. Sargent also dished out an assist, along with Alex Bryant. Thomas Davison notched two goals and Hayden Libby rounded out the scoring with another.
In goal for the Eagles, Dan Jackson, Will Furgeson and Jake Kirchner split nine saves evenly. Cam Wallace and Connor Ingalls played well.
On Monday, the Eagles fell to rival Brunswick, 14-4, at Bowdoin College.
Matt Lawrence had two goals in the loss, while Brown and Sargent tallied one goal each. Ingalls, Libby and Bryant played well, while in goal Jackson had three saves, with Furgeson and Kirchner splitting four saves down the middle.
Mt. Ararat visits Hyde in bath today at 4 p.m.
