AUCKLAND, New Zealand — Jerry and Arden LeVasseur are currently competing in the World Masters Games, with 28,000 athletes from 100 countries in action in 28 sports.
Arden LeVasseur, who resides in Brunswick, captured gold in the triple jump, her third gold medal in the past three Masters Games. She also won the silver in the long jump at this year’s games, which take place every four years.
Jerry LeVasseur won bronze in the 1,500-meter run, and also ran in the 10,000 and 5,000 races. He still has the steeple chase, triple jump and cross country events to compete in.
