BRUNSWICK — Bowdoin College women’s lacrosse senior Annie Glenn has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week.
The Polar Bears won three games last week to improve to 6-1 overall (3-1 NESCAC), including wins over Williams and top-ranked Middlebury, to vault to No. 8 in the latest IWLCA Division III poll.
Glenn played a big role in those pair of league wins for the Polar Bears, including handing Middlebury its first loss of the 2017 campaign. Glenn scored three goals against the Panthers, including the go-ahead goal late in the second half and the overtime game-winner.
She also added a goal and an assist in a 14-5 win over Williams on Thursday.
Bowdoin will return to action on Saturday when it hosts Trinity at Ryan Field at noon.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
