BRUNSWICK
Bowdoin College senior Hannah Miller will compete in the NCAA Ski Championships beginning on Thursday in Jackson, N.H.
Miller will be making her second trip to the NCAA Championship as she also qualified as a sophomore in 2015.
She will open competition with the 5K classic on Thursday at 10 a.m., before returning on Saturday for the 15K freestyle mass start. The competition will be streamed live on the NCAA website.
Miller enjoyed a phenomenal senior campaign that saw her post numerous top- 15 performances. She appears to be peaking at the right time, earning an eighth-place finish in the distance skate at the Middlebury Carnival before recording a pair of fifth-place showings at the Eastern Championships in Rumford two weeks ago.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
