
In his younger years Hollis drove a school bus, he later worked for 7 years in aircraft refueling at Brunswick Naval Air Station. For 43 years Hollis was a Charter Bus driver, driving tours throughout the country for Maine Line Tours/Brunswick Transportation.
Hollis was an avid golfer and outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends at their cottage on Tacoma Lake in Litchfield.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, June (Allen) Bruce of Brunswick, a daughter Cheryl Atwood of Topsham, a son in law Peter Lachance of Brunswick, grandchildren, Amanda Hughen and husband Andrew of Lewiston, Justin Lachance of Kamas, Utah, Ryan Lachance and wife Lindsey of Brunswick, Angela Hennessey of Bowdoin, great grandchildren, Rowen Hughen and Cody Lachance, several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced. Those who wish may leave a note of condolence to the family at www.brackettfuneralhome.c om.
