Rossignol’s Hair Shoppe will hold a one-year anniversary celebration on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 2-4 p.m. at 57 Maine St. in Brunswick.
The celebration is free to the public and light refreshments will be offered. Various beard and hair care goodie bags will be awarded as door prizes.
The Uncalled Four, a men’s barbershop quartet, will perform. The group is comprised of Jim Millinger, a singer with the Tigertones of Princeton; Don Price, a Methodist minister from Oklahoma; Bob Williams, a Russian historian active in Midcoast Senior College, and Dave Wood, a retired U.S. Coast Guard officer.
Rossignol’s will roll out a novel approach to children’s haircut pricing starting Jan. 21. Children pay their age: beginning with a dollar for children under 2, with a maximum of $13 for youth ages 13-18.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
