OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Two police sergeants have been promoted to capatain positions under a reorganization of the department’s administrative structure after the departure of the deputy police chief.
Former Deputy Police Chief Tim DeLuca recently left his position to become the police chief in Houlton.
The administrative police structure will include a chief and two captains.
Sgt. Elise Chard and Detective Sgt. David Hemingway have been promoted to captain. Dana Kelley is the town’s police chief.
