KENNEBUNK — Joyce Y. Pelkey, 87, formerly of Wells, died Jan. 4, 2017, at Gosnell Hospice in Scarborough, after a series of debilitating falls.
She was born in Limestone on June 3, 1929, daughter of Elmer and Yvonne (Ouellette) Rossignol and graduated Limestone High School in 1947.
She was preceded by her husband, Delcey Pelkey. Surviving are her daughter, Tanya Freeman, and husband, Gary, of Wells; four sons, Kurt (Debra) Pelkey of Old Orchard Beach, Dana (Connie) Pelkey of Acton, Max (Gayle) Pelkey of Berwick, Denver Pelkey of New Martinsville, West Virginia; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
