Santa’s Cause has been in operation since 2005, with over 120 community partners who help donate.
“The first year, we had 19 toys that we gave to the schools,” said Robin Donarumo, Founder and President of Santa’s Cause. “The second year, we reached out to the community and SIS was the first to respond. This year, with the help of SIS once again, we will be distributing over 2,300 gifts to 512 needy children and teens in the community.”
For this year’s Scavenger Hunt, SIS Bank received a request from a young girl wanting a Journey Girls™ doll.
“I was happy to take on the challenge of tracking down this new toy—we always enjoy working with Santa’s Cause and are glad to be able to help in bringing the joy of the holidays to our community,” said Linda Nadeau of SIS Bank.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
