KeyBank has announced Andrew Harding as its new assistant vice president and branch manager for the Freeport branch located at 135 Main St. He is responsible for maximizing branch productivity, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and managing the employees within the branch.

Harding has 25 years of experience in management, education, sales and training, including five years of banking experience as branch manager for Central Bank in Georgetown, Kentucky, from 2005 to 2010. While in his position at Central Bank, Harding was also certified annuity specialist and a licensed insurance agent for life and health. He served on the board of directors for both the Scott County Leadership Program and Big Brothers Big Sisters. In 2010, Harding obtained a K-5 teaching certificate and taught first grade for one year in Lexington, Kentucky. In 2012, he and his family relocated to Augusta where he joined Verizon Wireless as a sales trainer, serving the Maine, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Virginia markets.

With his current position at Key, Harding returns to the banking industry serving the Freeport community, where he and his family relocated in August and where they volunteer weekly at the Freeport Community Center and library. He is also an active member of both the Freeport Chamber of Commerce and the Freeport Rotary Club. Harding holds a B.A. in communications from Western Kentucky University and an elementary education certification from Asbury University.
