DAMARISCOTTA — A concert of Yuletide folk music, titled Hey Ho the Holly, will be presented at St. Andrews Church on Glidden St. in Damariscotta from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday.
This year, Hey Ho the Holly will feature young guest performers. The regular musical cast includes Kate Newell, Sharon Pyne, Doug Protsik, Fred Gosbee and Julia Lane. The group will present both ancient carols and new songs celebrating Christmas and the winter season. There will be plenty of audience participation throughout the concert, which will be followed by a sing-along of familiar, traditional carols.
Suggested donation is $8 for adults, $5 for children and seniors. All proceeds will go to Heifer International. Through the gift of a farm animal and the training to have a profitable business, donations to Heifer International help families in need.
