BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade girls basketball team opened its season with a 43-31 victory over Bath.
The Huskies held quarter leads of 8-4, 25-8 and 36-20.
Hannah Fortier paced Brunswick (1-0) with 20 points and nine assists, with Chloe Coombs adding seven.
Bath’s (0-2) Kaylee Garland picked up 13 points, while Hannah Gates chipped in seven.
