PORTLAND — Freeport residents Andrew Cashman and Michael Smith, along with Brunswick resident Laura Rideout, of Preti Flaherty, have been listed as Rising Stars in the 2016 list of New England Super Lawyers.
Cashman, an associate in the Augusta office, is recognized for his work in the field of government relations and lobbying. Smith, an associate in the Portland office, is recognized for his work in business litigation. Rideout, an associate also in Portland, is recognized in the area of environmental law.
New England Super Lawyers recognizes attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice and have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5 percent of attorneys are selected to Super Lawyers and half of that percentage is selected as Rising Stars.
