BRUNSWICK

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will hold its 80th annual Christmas Fair on Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 27 Pleasant St. in Brunswick.

Holiday shoppers are invited to browse dozens of tables featuring items handmade by local artisans, stitchers and craftsmen as well as baked goods, religious items and thousands of second-hand items — all to support St. Paul’s charitable programs.

Santa and his helpers will be on hand to entertain the children while adults shop for gifts, bid on silent auction items or have a book signed by Maine Sen. Angus King or author Rick Wile.

Several fair favorites will return again this year, such as the “Treasures Table” of pre-owned household items, jewelry, toys and antiques. Other tables include baked goods, knitted products and Country Store items. The St. Paul’s Christmas Café will serve sandwiches, fish chowder, Manhattan clam chowder, taco salad, dessert and beverages between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Sen. Angus King and Rick Wile will be signing their books from 10 a.m. to noon during the fair.

All proceeds from the fair go to St. Paul’s outreach and charitable programs. Over the past five years, the community’s support of the Christmas Fair has allowed St. Paul’s to donate more than $80,000 to programs throughout the Brunswick area. Past recipients include Mid Coast Hunger Prevention, Tedford Housing, Embrace A Vet, The Gathering Place, Oasis Health Clinic, among others.
