
The Tigers topped visiting York 29-0 while Kennebunk grinded out a tough 16-14 win over Leavitt.
Biddeford
The Tigers got off to a fast start when Austin Dutremble returned a blocked punt for a touchdown less than two minutes into the contest. Curtis Petit would later score from 10 yards out to extend the lead to 14-0. Petit would score his second touchdown soon after, this time on a 61- yard rush, to give the Tigers the 20-0 advantage.
Dutremble would later add another touchdown, followed by a Tiger field goal, to secure the 29-0 shutout.
Kennebunk
After a sloppy, scoreless first quarter, Leavitt would take a 7-0 lead in the second on a 50-yard touchdown pass. The Rams would respond when Tripp Bush connected with Bryan Hickey for a 25- yard score, cutting the Leavitt lead to 8-6. Jared Dyer would kick a last-minute field goal to give the Rams the 9-8 lead at the half.
Pat Saunders would then extend the Kennebunk lead to 16-8 on a rushing touchdown late in the third quarter.
